Holiday house with a veranda, terrace and garden, in the centre of a village in Normandy

This detached stone house is in the centre of a small Norman village between Avranches and Granville in the Mont Saint Michel bay.

A big veranda opens onto the 1700m² garden with greenery and the terrace, where you can spend pleasant hours on sunny days. There is a grill. One or two cars can be parked on the private driveway of the house.

It provides 140m² of living space for up to six people. The ground floor has a living room with a dining space and a TV. The separate kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, oven, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee machine. The ground floor also has a big bathroom with a WC, shower and washing machine. The first floor has two attic bedrooms. The first bedroom is furnished with two double beds 140cm wide, as well as a single bed 90cm wide. This bedroom can be divided by a curtain. It has a separate shower and toilet. The second bedroom has a further bed 140cm wide for two people. All the rooms have heating.

The holiday house is near the coast and beaches. The first beach is about 4km away. The famous landmark Mont Saint Michel is 25 minutes away by car. It is definitely worth a visit. In Sartilly 4km away you can find a supermarket (Super U) and other shops such as bakeries, butchers, a pharmacy and smaller grocery shops.

    “Das Haus ist schön und gepflegt und hat einen schönen großen Garten, in dem man sich gerne aufhält. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut (Gartenmöbel, Handtücher etc.). Einen Wermutstropfen gibt es aber: Die Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoss sind Durchgangszimmer. Man muss an allen Betten vorbei, um ins letzte Schlafzimmer zu gelangen. Das geht aus der Beschreibung nicht hervor und wäre für uns auch ein Ausschlusskriterium gewesen. Der nächtliche Gang zur Toilette ist auch kaum unbemerkt zu verrichten. Aber das war es dann auch schon an Einschränkungen. Zum Entspannen, Bücher lesen, lecker Kochen und am schönen Sitzplatz draußen essen und trinken ist das Haus wirklich gut geeignet. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war immer prompt und sehr freundlich. Sie hat sich gut um ihre Gäste gekümmert.”

    “Wij hebben het heerlijk gehad in een schoon, overzichtelijk huis met een fijne ligging vlakbij alle stranden en leuke dorpjes en plaatsen. Prachtige fijne omgeving om tot rust te komen en te genieten van vakantie. Een fijne tuin en je voelt je meteen thuis in het huis met veel ruimte. In het echt is het groter dan op de foto's.”
