Nestled in a postcard landscape, this mountain hut 24 km from Feltre is just the thing for nature lovers and those seeking peace and quiet. Enjoy the breathtaking view of the mountains on the border between the Bellunese and Trentino Dolomites. Idyllically nestled in nature, yet conveniently located to visit the regions of Veneto with its beautiful art cities (Belluno 55 km, Vicenza and Treviso 85 km, Venice 120 km) and Trentino with the Dolomites and the gorgeous lakes. From the characteristic mountain village of Lamon, the house is reached by a mountainous, winding road (the last kilometer is a dirt road). The area offers many hiking trails and mountain biking routes. Some hiking trails lead from the village to the various well-known caves in the area. For the adventurous, the favorable air currents of the Monte Avena mountain side are ideal for paragliding and hang gliding. Canyoning in the valley and the nearby lakes (Lake Corlo 20 km, Lake Levico and Lake Caldonazzo 50 km) offer water sports such as windsurfing, sailing, kite surfing. The area also offers a wide range of food and wine with typical products. For beer lovers, in Pedavena (20 km) there is a historic brewery, known for its typical dishes and the wide selection of draft beers. This cottage is a true paradise for nature lovers and often even rabbits or deer venture up to the property. Guests have a small vegetable garden at their disposal. On the second floor there are two wood-paneled bedrooms, one of which is a quadruple room with a bed in the open loft, both with access to the balcony with a view. The water comes from a controlled water cistern.
