The modern furnished apartment with a bright atmosphere is the perfect setting for a great vacation with both hiking and fishing. Plan your daily program in the morning at the dining table and make yourself comfortable on the sofa or on the balcony after a long day. Tomorrow you can start your hike to the top of the mountain.

The hike to the top of the mountain, Gaustatoppen, is one of the most popular in Norway, and the view from the top is phenomenal. You can also take the cable car inside the mountain to the top if your legs can't handle the hike. If you want to hike to the top, Stavsro is the most popular starting point. There are several different hiking trails that all lead to the summit. So both families with children and experienced mountain hikers can find a route they enjoy. Other highlights for mountain hikers also include Hulderhola Cave and Torreskyrkja, a mountain peak that rises in the mountain massif between Kvitåvatn, Gaustablikk and Heddersvatn near Stavsro. From the summit you have a fantastic view of Gaustatoppen, Tuddal and the mountains in the south of Telemark. There is a trail marked T that starts at Kvitåvatn and is more challenging than the hike from Stavsro to Gaustatoppen. Also follow the historical hiking trail, Sabotørstien.
