Apartment house with a shared pool and a view of Lake Garda

The La Portella residence is about a five-minute walk away from the old centre of Tignale/Gardola, in a beautiful location on a slope, with an incomparable view over Lake Garda, framed by Monte Baldo on the other side, as far as the southern end of the lake with a view of Peschiera, Sirmione and Salo.

There is a pool (approx. 300m²!), open from 15.07. to 15.09., as well as a children’s paddling pool. The well-maintained outdoor area with deckchairs and parasols invites you to sunbathe and relax. Right next to it thee is a small and pleasant pool bar, where you can get small snacks, cool drinks or a delicious icecream. During the season you can also make use of the breakfast or bread rolls service.

In addition, the property has a tennis court and an artificial turf pitch for football, volleyball etc. There are also several covered table tennis tables and two table football tables, a giant outdoor chess board, and a large shaded playground with slides, swings and other play equipment.

The small locality of Tignale only has a little more than 1300 residents, but is nevertheless one of the most popular holiday destinations to the west of Lake Garda. Tignale lies in the Italian region of Lombardy, on the western shore of Lake Garda, right between the two towns of Gargnano and Limone sul Garda. From Limone it is only about 20km to Tignale. Tignale consists of the main locality of Gardola and five further districts that have merged. All the municipalities are located in the green and hilly “Parco di Garda” nature reserve. In the locality you will find all the necessary everyday shops, including two supermarkets, a fruit shop, butcher, bars, restaurants, household goods, pharmacy, icecream counters, hairdresser and so on…

Apartment on the second floor with a balcony

The holiday apartment is on the second floor, therefore at the top of house B (Benaco), and has been thoughtfully and cosily decorated by the owner. It has 60m2 of living space and can accommodate up to six people. It provides all necessary modern appliances: a large flatscreen satellite TV, fridge with a freezer compartment, dishwasher, electric coffee machine, gas stove with four rings, as well a wireless Internet access in the apartment. The bathroom has a shower cubicle, WC, mirrored cupboard with a 220V plug. In the two bedrooms, each with two beds (80 x 190cm), there are a cupboard and storage space, as well as a safe. In the living area there is a spacious sitting and sleeping unit made of leather for the fifth and sixth persons.

On the same floor there are other two apartments, so groups or acquainted families (up to 16 people) can spend enjoyable holidays here together.

The apartment has a large balcony with a lovely view of Lake Garda. It has chairs, a table, a deckchair and sun protection.

    “Het appartement voldeed aan onze wensen en verwachtingen, op uitzondering van 2 dingen.
    Het balkon was helaas klein. In de beschrijving stond dat het een ruim balkon was. Als we een appartement voor 4 personen boeken (zelfs geschikt voor 6 personen), verwacht ik dat we ook met 4 personen op een balkon kunnen zitten. Dit kon helaas niet. Er stonden ook maar 2 kleine stoeltjes buiten en bij de balkondeuren (in het appartement) stonden 2 grote ingeklapte ligstoelen. Deze kon je er natuurlijk niet bijplaatsen op zo'n klein balkon. Het vierkante tafeltje was overigens ook veel te klein om met z'n 4-en aan te ontbijten of te dineren. Erg jammer. Het 2de wat ons opviel wat niet klopte was de kamer voor de kinderen. Op de foto op de site stonden 2 eenpersoonsbedden in een redelijk ruime slaapkamer afgebeeld, maar bij aankomst bleek dit een stapelbed te zijn in een erg klein kamertje. Erg warm om bovenin tegen het plafond aan te slapen.
    Appartement was verder keurig en schoon achtergelaten. Ook de badkamer was zeer netjes en leek nog onlangs gerenoveerd. Er stond zelfs een wasmachine, wat niet in de omschrijving had gestaan. Fijn om deze zo te kunnen gebruiken. Appartement bood wel comfort door bijv. de vaatwasser, wasmachine en een flatscreen televisie.

    De ligging was zo'n 9 km. van het Gardameer. Klopte met omschrijving. Viel ons wel wat tegen voor je, met alle haarspeldbochten in de bergen, beneden (of boven) was. Appartement lag op loopafstand van de winkels, erg handig. Omgeving was rustig.

    Leuke faciliteiten voor de kinderen. Groot voetbalveld en tennisveld, ook voor minder weer vermaak binnen met tafeltennistafel en voetbaltafel. Prachtig groot zwembad met vele ligstoelen rondom.

    Prijsniveau was uitstekend.”

    “Die Unterkunft liegt recht hoch in den Bergen (ca.10 Minuten Autofahrt) und ist sehr ruhig gelegen. Der richtige Ort zum Entspannen mit wunderschönen Ausblick. Das Zimmer ist ein bisschen altmodisch, aber bietet alles, was man braucht und ist sauber gewesen. Außerdem gibt es einen großen Pool, einen Tennisplatz und sogar Fußball wurde angeboten u.a. Das einzige... eine Klimaanlage wäre schön.”
