This cosy cottage in log-cabin style in the northern part of central Hesse is situated in a quiet weekend resort. The beautiful wooden structures in the town centre are located at walkable distance. A fireplace in the lounge makes the living and dining room very cosy. A terrace on the south-western side and another terrace on the north-eastern side help you to enjoy your stay in any weather condition. Both the terraces are well designed. A wooded garden with seating furniture, an open fireplace and a wooden hut, where you can park your bicycles are also available. Well-marked hiking trails start just few metres away from this home. Enjoy numerous natural and cultural features in the northern part of central Hesse, Gladenbach Highlands, which is a part of Rhine-Westphalian Slate Mountains. Explore the surrounding Schuster Mountains by foot or by bicycle. Besides extensive deciduous forests and numerous streams, you can also enjoy visiting abandoned basalt quarries, natural rock formations and gorgeous views. Biedenkopf is a medieval countryside located 15 km north of this home with shopping centres, a water park and a castle with a hinterland museum. Also visit Wisentgehege (Bison paddock) in the district called Wallau. Do visit the traditional university town called Marburg with numerous attractions.
